Men's Golf Picks Up GCAA Academic Honor

SEGUIN, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran men's golf team earned an academic distinction from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Tuesday.

TLU earned the publication's Outstanding Team Academic Award, landing on the All-Academic team.

The award requires a team grade point average of at least a 3.0. TLU earned a 3.39 GPA over the course of the 2023-24 season. Two hundred forty schools across six divisions earned a GCAA Outstanding Team Academic Award.

Last week, Tobey Wills and Caleb Kruse earned spots on the association's All-America Scholar list.
