Wills Earns Sixth Career SCAC Golfer of the Week Award

SEGUIN, Texas -- After winning his second tournament of the spring, the 2024 Linda Lowery Invitational, junior Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) has earned his sixth career Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Golfer of the Week honor, the league office announced Wednesday morning.

The weekly honor is the second of the season for Wills, earning Golfer of the Week after winning the Space City Classic in February.

Wills finished the 36-hole tournament at a five-over score of 149. Wills would initially tie with Parker Smith from the tournament's host, Concordia University, but Wills would birdie the playoff hole to secure the top spot. The win marks the fourth individual championship in his career.

Wills and Texas Lutheran return to action April 8 at the West Region Invitational at the Berry Creek Country Club in Georgetown, Texas.
