Tobey Wills Named SCAC Golfer of the Week

SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran men's golf junior Tobey Wills's (Richmond/Foster) runner-up finish at the Coastal Collegiate Classic earned him Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men's Golfer of the Week honors, the league announced Wednesday.

Wills finished as the runner-up at the Coastal Collegiate Classic hosted by Corban University in Gleneden Beach, Oregon. The top ten finish is the third of the 2023 fall season for Wills.

Wills led his team to a fourth place finish behind a 9-over three round score of 222.

This is Wills' fourth career SCAC weekly honor and first of the 2023-24 season.

TLU will be back in action Oct. 23-24 as they conclude their fall season with the Hardin-Simmons Invitational at the Diamondback National Golf Club in Abilene, Texas.
