Wills Leads Texas Lutheran Through 18 Holes at Coastal Collegiate Classic

GLENEDEN BEACH, OR -- The Texas Lutheran men's golf team is in fifth place with a 317 following Sunday's 18 holes of action at the Coastal Collegiate Classic hosted by Corban University at the Salishan Golf Links in Gleneden Beach, Oregon. Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) leads the Texas Lutheran lineup with a 1-over score through 18 holes to tie for third place.

Wills trails first place by two strokes individually while TLU trails leader Simpson (CA) by 19 strokes. The Bulldogs have a 12 stroke lead on sixth place Southern Oregon's B Team.

Johannes Chang (Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia/Tenby International School) snuck into the top 20, tying for 19th place after Sunday's opening round with a score of 10-over (81).

Cody O'Brien (Houston/St. John XXIII College Prep) and Caleb Kruse (Fredericksburg/Fredericksburg) tied for 22nd place trailing Chang by one stroke at 11-over (82).

Monday's second round will begin with tee times starting at 9:10 AM PST.
