Texas Lutheran Finishes 15th at Rhodes College Fall Classic

TUNICA, MS -- The Texas Lutheran men's golf team finished in 15th place at Rhodes College Fall Classic at the Tunica National Golf Club in Tunica, Mississippi, on Monday. Individually, Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) finished tied for seventh with a final tally of 220 (+4) over 54 holes to lead Texas Lutheran.

The 17-team field at the Rhodes College Fall Classic featured teams from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), Southern Athletic Association (SAA), American Southwest Conference (ASC), North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), and Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) as well as Drew University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and Webster University.

The Bulldogs shot a team score of 931 (+67) finishing the tournament with a third round score of 317 (+29).

Host, Rhodes College, won the tournament with a score of 14-over par.

Cody O'Brien (Houston/St. John XXIII College Prep) finished tied for 69th at 20-over par.

Tyler Givilancz (Schertz/Clemens) signed for the final tally of 22-over 238 to finish tied for 76th
