Texas Lutheran Wraps Fall with Eleventh Place Finish at Crusader Invitational

THACKERVILLE, OK -- Texas Lutheran Men's Golf registered a 31-over-par 319 Tuesday to finish in 11th place at the Crusader Invitational at Winstar Golf Course in Thackerville, Oklahoma. Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) recorded a five-over-par 77 on Tuesday to finish tied for 28th in the individual standings.

The 13-team field at the Crusader Invitational featured teams from across the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), Southern Athletic Association (SAA), and American Southwest Conference (ASC).

LeTourneau University captured the team title with a score of three-over-par 291.

Chandler Otto (Round Rock/Cedar Ridge) signed for a final tally of eight-over 80 to finish tied for 49th.

Caleb Kruse finished tied for 54th after shooting a nine-over 81 in the tournament.
