Texas Lutheran Finishes 16th at Rhodes College Fall Collegiate Classic

TUNICA, MS -- The Texas Lutheran men's golf team finished in 16th place at Rhodes College Fall Collegiate Classic at the Tunica National Golf Course in Tunica, Mississippi, on Monday. Individually, Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) finished tied for 18th with a final tally of 221 (+5) over 54 holes to lead Texas Lutheran.

The 19-team field at the Rhodes College Fall Collegiate Classic featured teams from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), Southern Athletic Association (SAA), American Southwest Conference (ASC), Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS), and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) as well as DePauw University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Millikin University, and Webster University.

The Bulldogs shot a team score of 924 (+60) finishing the tournament with a third round score of 315 (+27).

Piedmont University won the tournament with the only team finishing under-par at 3-under.

Chandler Otto (Round Rock/Cedar Ridge) finished tied for 53rd at 13-over par.

Foster Stoltz signed for the final tally of 23-over 216 to finish tied for 81st.

Dylan Hansen (Manor/Weiss) finished tied for 85th after shooting a 24-over 216.

The fall slate continues at the Alamo Classic at Quarry Golf Course in San Antonio, Texas, on October 9-11 and concludes with the Crusader Invitational in Thackerville, Oklahoma, October 23-25.
