Bulldogs in Eighth after 18 Holes at John Bohmann Invite; Hansen, Otto in Top Ten

BLANCO, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran's men's golf team carded a 33-over 381 during its first round at the John Bohmann Memorial Invite on Monday as they sit in eighth place heading into day two of the tournament at Vaaler Creek Golf Course in Blanco, Texas.

Trinity University sits in first place in the team race at 1-over under 289.

Texas Lutheran freshman Dylan Hansen (Manor/Weiss) fired off a 1-over opening round to sit in eighth place and three strokes back of first place entering the final round.

Senior Chandler Otto (Round Rock/Cedar Ridge) shot 2-over in the opening round to sit at 74 and tied for tenth place. 2021-22 SCAC Freshman of the Year Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) sits in 14th - five strokes back from first place - at 3-over par.

The Bulldogs will begin their final round tomorrow at 8 AM at Vaaler Creek Golf Course. Stats will be available at golfstat.com.
