Men's Golf Finishes Seventh in Schreiner Shootout

KERRVILLE, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Men's Golf registered a 26-over-par 300 in Tuesday's final round to finish in seventh place at the Schreiner Spring Shootout at Comanche Trace Golf Club in Kerrville, Texas. Chase Maus (Manor/Manor) recorded a 5-over-par 72 on Tuesday to finish tied for third in the individual standings with a 36-hole score of 7-over-par 144.

The 10-team field at the Schreiner Shootout featured teams from across the state of Texas - primarily from the American Southwest Conference (ASC) and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC).

The Bulldogs registered a 36-hole total of 633 (+57) during the three-day tournament. Concordia University (TX) captured the team title with a score of 36-over-par 576.

Chandler Otto (Round Rock/Cedar Ridge) signed for the final tally of 15-over 144 to finish tied for 23rd.

Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) finished tied for 31st after shooting a 16-over 144 through the tournament, recording a 5-over 72 and rising nine spots on the leaderboard on the final day.

Cameron Carter (Rock Springs, Wyo./Kelly Walsh) posted his best round of the tournament Tuesday, tallying a 9-over 72 to finish tied for 40th.
