Men's Golf Finishes Seventh in Chick-Fil-A Invitational

ROME, GA -- Texas Lutheran Men's Golf registered a 12-over-par 300 in Tuesday's final round to finish in seventh place at the Chick-Fil-A Collegiate Invitational at Stonebridge Golf Club in Rome, Georgia. Chandler Otto (Round Rock/Cedar Ridge) recorded a 1-over-par 73 on Tuesday to rise 18 spots on the leaderboard to finish tied for 17th in the individual standings with a 36-hole score of 4-over-par 148.

The 20-team field at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational featured teams from across the South and Mid-South.

The Bulldogs registered a 36-hole total of 595 (+19) during their two-day tournament. Emory captured the team title with a score of 5-under-par 571.

Chase Maus (Manor/Manor) and Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) joined Otto in the top 25 with both signing for the final tally of 5-over 149 to finish tied for 23rd.

Matthew McArthur (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) finished tied for 40th after shooting a 10-over 154 through the tournament, recording a 1-over 73 on the final day.

Cameron Carter (Rock Springs, WY/Kelly Walsh) posted his best round of the tournament Tuesday, tallying a 6-over 78 to finish tied for 49th.
