SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran dropped Friday's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) contest to 23rd-ranked St. Thomas, 60-47, at Memorial Gymnasium.
Mason Green (San Marcos/San Marcos) scored 14 points to lead the way for the Bulldogs.
Texas Lutheran would lead the ranked Celts 24-19 at halftime - led by six points each from Green and Isaac Orozco (Helotes/O'Connor).
The Bulldogs struggled in the second half, shooting 32% from the field and 16.7% from three-point range in the second half as the Celts more than doubled their first half scoring effort. Despite the Bulldogs holding the Celts 17 points under their season average, their 43 second half points proved to be too much for the Bulldogs who only managed 23 points in the second half.
