Four Bulldogs Honored on CSC Academic All-District Team
SEGUIN, Texas -- Four Texas Lutheran football student-athletes were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections, it was announced Tuesday by the association.
The Bulldogs honorees included seniors Cayleb Klostermann (Lyford/Lyford) (Kinesiology - Rehab Science), Mason Hardy (Flynn/Normangee) (Business Management), and Grayson Kowalski (Sabinal/Sabinal) (Kinesiology - Sports and Fitness Management), and junior (Weston Guzman (McAllen/McAllen) (Sociology - Criminal Justice).
It is the third straight Academic All-District honor for Hardy and the second straight for Kowalski. Kowalski and Guzman are CSC Academic All-American finalists and will advance to the national ballot voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced January 28, 2025.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 grade point average or higher and have one year completed in college. On the field, student-athletes must have played in 90 percent or started 66 percent of the total games played.
