Beard, Peavy Earn All-Region Honors from D3baseball.com

SEGUIN, Texas -- A pair of Bulldogs, Brendan Beard (Coldspring/Coldspring-Oakhurst) and Adam Peavy (Houston/Memorial), added more postseason honors with both earning a spot on the D3baseball.com All-Region 10 Third Team, the publication announced on Tuesday. Beard earns All-Region honors for the first time in his career while Peavy adds his second career All-Region honor, earning All-Region honors from the ABCA/Rawlings earlier on Tuesday.

A senior from Coldspring, Texas, Beard earned All-SCAC First Team honors for the first time in his career for his efforts on the mound. Beard ranked fourth in the SCAC with a 2.37 ERA and 77 strikeouts. Beard finished the 2024 season with a 7-1 record in his first year as a full-time starter, striking out 77 batters over 81 innings pitched in 13 appearances (11 starts).

Peavy adds to a decorated month that has seen him named to the All-SCAC Second Team as well as the ABCA/Rawlings Second Team All-Region squad. The sophomore led the Bulldogs with .524 slugging percentage. Peavy also tied for the most doubles (9) and triples (2) on the team, while being second in home runs (5) and total bases (77) and third in RBIs (37). Peavy recorded 16 multi-hit games and had nine multi-RBI contests this season.
