SEGUIN, Texas -- A pair of Bulldogs, Tyler Post (San Antonio/Johnson) and Blake Cappadona (Mont Belvieu/Barbers Hill), added more postseason honors with both earning a spot on ABCA/Rawlings All-Region 10 Teams, as voted by the American Baseball Coaches Association. Post, who was named a member of the D3baseball.com All-Region Second Team on Monday, was a First Team selection at first base, while Cappadona was a Third Team selection as a utility player.

As an ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team selection, Post is nominated for ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors. The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-America teams will be announced on Thursday, June 1.

A junior from San Antonio, Post was named SCAC Player of the Year and was a First Team All-SCAC selection this season. Post led the SCAC in home runs (16), RBI (75), runs (45), total bases (123), and slugging percentage (.769). He was also second in triples (three), hits (58) and doubles (11) and fifth in batting average (.362) and on-base percentage (.449). Post ranks second in NCAA Division-III with 75 RBI and eighth in home runs with 16. With 16 home runs this season, Post moved into sole possession of third place on the TLU Baseball all-time home run list with 38 career home runs, trailing former teammate Tyler Cauley (2017-2021, 41) by three for second place.

In a banner year offensively for Post, the Bulldogs' first baseman etched his name among the single-season leaders in TLU Baseball history. His 75 RBIs rank as the most in TLU's Division-III era and third most all-time while his 1.70 RBI/Game are the most all-time. His 16 home runs rank fourth all-time, second most in the Division-III era while his .769 slugging percentage ranks fifth all-time.

Cappadona, a fifth-year senior from Mont Belvieu, wrapped up his collegiate career as an All-SCAC Second Team selection finishing second in the SCAC in runs (41), at-bats (161), and triples (3), fourth in walks (28), and seventh in RBI (30) while batting .304 in 42 games.

Cappadona also made eight appearances on the mound, finishing with a 2-0 record. He totaled 21 strikeouts in 16 1/3 innings, issuing just nine walks while opponents hit .203 against him.
