Texas Lutheran weekend baseball series with Trinity has been cancelled
SEGUIN, Texas -- Due to COVID-19 safety precautions and protocols, this weekend's Texas Lutheran vs. Trinity conference baseball series has been cancelled.
At this time, there are no plans to reschedule the series.
The three games, scheduled for Friday and Saturday at TLU's Katt-Isbel Field in Seguin, were to be the first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference contests of the year for both teams. The series was to have a single game at 6 p.m. Friday and doubleheader Saturday at noon.
Trinity is 9-1 overall. TLU is 7-5 overall.
The Tigers and Bulldogs have won the last two SCAC Baseball Championships and played each other for the conference title in the last contested SCAC Tournament, held in 2019.
