
TLU's Tyler Cauley named SCAC Hitter of the Week
Cauley, the team's right fielder, hit .455 in a two-game sweep of New Jersey City. He hit a three-run home run and drove in five in the 14-1 victory on Saturday. He was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a double, and a walk.
Cauley scored two runs and had a stolen base in the 6-0 victory on Sunday.
Through 12 games of the 2020 season, Cauley is hitting .385 with 16 runs scored, four doubles, four home runs, and 18 RBI.
Cauley has a slugging percentage of .795 and an on-base percentage of .528.
The Bulldogs are back in action tonight (Tuesday) with a 6 p.m. non-conference home game against DeSales (Pa.).

Junior Jeffrey Williams of Schreiner helped lead the Mountaineers to a 2-2 week in Tucson, AZ going 6 for 13 with a double, a grand slam HR, and 7 RBIs. Junior Seth Sparks of Southwestern hit .308 in 13 at-bats last week, including a two-RBI performance in the Pirates' 4-1 win over Millikin and a 2-for-5 performance with a run scored in the Pirates' 6-5 win over Concordia.
