Bio

Suzanne Sheaffer was an All-American volleyball player in1993 and helped lead the 1983 Bulldogs to the NAIA National Championship Tournament, where they tied for ninth. In her four years with the team, Sheaffer and the Bullodgs were 99-59, won the Heart of Texas Championship, and played in the NAIA District IV Tournament three times.  Sheaffer’s volleyball career at TLU produced an astounding 505 total blocks.  She set the TLU single-season record for blocks per game with a rate of 2.25 blocks per game in 1993.  Her career rate of 2.1 blocks per game also stands as a TLU record.  Suzi was also a stand-out softball player for four seasons.  She ranks third on TLU’s career RBI list with 90.
