Bio

Steve Porter, a 1977 graduate, came from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and during his four years on the basketball team (1973-1977), the Bulldogs were 73-36.  In 1982, he still held six all-time records including most free throws attempted in one game (17), most rebounds in a season (789) most rebounds (1,211) and most free throws attempted (720) in a career.  Steve was on the Big State All-Conference team three times, was on the All-District IV team twice, and was an NAIA All-American Honorable mention twice.
