Bio

Jones is a three-time Academic All-American – earning the honors in 2005, 2006 and 2007.  She is the only Bulldog student-athlete to be honored as an Academic All-American three times.  She qualified for the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championship meet in the 100-meter hurdles in 2004.  In 2004, she was also the American Southwest Conference 100-meter hurdle champion.  In 2005, she once again qualified for the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championship in the 100-meter hurdles.  Finally, in 2006 she not only qualified for the NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championship meet in the 100-meter hurdles but also in the 400-meter hurdles and as a member of the 4x100 meter relay.  In 2006, she earned her first All-American honor in competition as a member of the national sixth-place 4x100 relay team.  That same year she was named the TLU Female Student Athlete of the Year.  In 2007, Natalie qualified for her fourth NCAA DIII Outdoor National Championship meet in the heptathlon.  She was also named the TLU Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
