Milford 'Miffy' Kaase
Bio
Miffy Kaase quarterbacked the Bulldog football team for four seasons and passed for a total of 2, 335 yards. In 1960, Kaase led Texas Lutheran to a 39-7 first-ever victory over Southwest Texas State and was named Most Valuable Player in that game. The next season, he again quarterbacked the Bulldogs to a win over the Bobcats 7-6. Kaase also excelled in baseball. He lettered two seasons – 1960 as a catcher, and in 1963 as a first baseman under Coach Buzzy Keller.
