Bio
As a member of the junior college class of 1931, Marie played on the first college women’s basketball varsity team, compiling a 10-2 record. She was a forward and the leading scorer. In 1930-31, they defeated the leading amateur teams in the area and were invited to the national tournament in Dallas.
