Bio

Kevin Webster earned NAIA All-America honors in 2000 and played for the Bulldogs from 1999 to 2001 under Head Coach Bill Miller.  Webster was a three-year starter at catcher.  In 2001, he set the American Southwest Conference and TLU individual season batting average record at .491. That same year, Webster was the ASC West Triple Crown winner for leading the division in home runs (11), RBIs (49), and average (.491). He ranked second in all of NCAA Division II for batting average in 2001, and he was the ASC West Co-Player of the Year and All-American Athlete, an NAIA Texas Independent selection, an NAIA Sectional All-Tournament selection, and a member of the NAIA Region IV First Team.  His three-year career batting average of .387 is second all-time at TLU.  After completing his eligibility, Webster signed as a free agent with the Baltimore Orioles.
