Bio

Kent Richter is a rare two-sport star who lettered four years in track and field and four years in football.  Richter was named to the All-Lutheran Football Team in 1968 and was captain of the Bulldogs that season.  He led the football team in scoring in 1966, 1967, and 1968.  He was second in rushing and receiving in 1967 and 1968 and second in receiving in 1966.  He played offense and defense in 1966 and had three interception in one game that year.  Richter was also the track and field team’s Most Valuable Player in 1967.
