Bio

Kelly Winkelmann Baehren lettered four years in women’s basketball and four years in softball for the Bulldogs.  The former record-holder for most rebounds in a game, Kelly is the second all-time leading rebounder in TLU women’s basketball history with 945.  Kelly holds TLU school records for single-season rebounds (334) and for free-throw attempts in a career (502).  She was a member of the Texas Lutheran women’s basketball squads, coached by Lana Urbanek, which advanced to the NAIA District IV playoffs in 1992 and 1993.  In softball, she posted 24 pitching wins in her career and was named to the NAIA District IV First Team in 1991 after winning 10 games and posting an ERA of 1.65.
