Bio

Bayless was a four-year letter winner in women’s basketball and softball and earned National Softball Coaches Association All-American honors in 1994 (becoming the first TLU softball player to claim such an honor).  Bayless still holds the school record for career runs scored (124) and ranks in the top two in eight other single-season and career categories, including single-season marks for runs, triples, RBIs and stolen bases, as well as career numbers for RBIs, triples, home runs and stolen bases.  On the basketball court, Bayless scored 583 career points (30th on the TLU career scoring list).  She played on the TLU women’s basketball squads that advanced to the NAIA District IV Championship Playoff Tournament in 1992 and 1993.
