Bio

John Nellermoe coached Texas Lutheran men’s golf team from 1983 to 1996 and along the way, guided the Bulldogs to 11 NAIA National Tournament appearances.  With Nellermoe as coach, TLU finished in the Top 10 nationally on 10 occasions and placed in the top five twice.  In 1990, the Bulldogs finished as the national runner-up.  In 1989, Nellermoe watched as current PGA Tour professional Cameron Beckman won the NAIA National Individual title for the Bulldogs.  John Coached 11 playing All-Americans and eight NAIA All-Scholar Athletes.  Under his leadership, TLU won three Big State Conference Championships and five NAIA District IV Championships.
