Bio

Charlie McMahon was an All-American quarterback for the Bulldogs in 1957.  In an era in which the running game nearly was the only game in town, McMahon put up record passing numbers.  In 1956, he threw 14 touchdown passes in eight games and finished sixth in the NAIA for total offense per game.  As a team, the Bulldogs were No. 2 in the NAIA for total offense in 1956.  McMahon earned four letters with the Bulldogs and was named an All-Texas College Quarterback by the Dallas Morning News and a Williamson Little College All-American.  Following his playing days at Texas Lutheran, he signed a professional contract with the Denver Broncos.
