Bio

Bill Lehman earned All-American football honors in 1960 for the Bulldogs.  A tough offensive guard, he led a Bulldog football revival in 1959 and 1960 under Coach Jim Malmquist.  Lehman’s All-American season came in 1960 as the Bulldogs posted their first winning record in five seasons.  He twice earned First Team All-Texas honors from the Dallas Morning News.  He continued his football career in the Canadian Football League, playing with the Saskatchewan Rough Riders, and coaching and playing for the San Antonio Toros of the Continental Football League.  Following his professional football career, he wrestled professionally for 13 years under the names Sigfried Stanke and Spoiler No. 2.  Bill served as TLU’s head tennis coach for nine years.  He was the ASC Women’s Tennis Coach of the Year in 2004-2005.
