Ulcak was the Bulldog Softball Team’s left-handed ace for four seasons and concluded her career as the Bulldogs’ career record-holder for wins, with 58.  And until Taylor Grissom broke her mark in 2016, Ulcak was the career ERA record holder with a career mark of 1.26.  She also held the TLU scoreless inning mark of 59-2/3 innings, set during the 2004 season.  That record was just broken this year by Maitlin Raycroft.  Ulcak is still second on the career list in innings pitched with 582, and second in strikeouts with 465.  She was the 2002 American Southwest Conference West Division Freshman of the Year.  In 2004, Ulcak led TLU to its first ASC West Division Championship.  She tossed a no-hitter in 2004 and led TLU to an overall mark of 29-11-1 with a 22-4-1 mark in the ASC West Division.  Amanda was also named to the All-West Region team in 2004.
