Kelli Layden is the all-time leading goal scorer in Texas Lutheran Women's Soccer history. Layden finished her career with 61 goals and 143 points. She finished second all-time in career assists with 21. Upon the end of her college career, she was tied for first all-time in matches played and started with 75. Layden still ranks in the top five in both categories. Layden was a three-time All-ASC selection. In 2007, Layden became the first Women's Soccer player in school history to be named American Southwest Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Layden led the ASC in goals scored (22) and total points (47) - finishing the season with 22 goals and 3 assists. Her 22 goals made for 9 more than any other player in the conference. Layden also led the ASC with 6 game winning goals. Her 2007 season set new TLU single-season records for goals and total points in a season. She led TLU Women's Soccer to three ASC postseason tournament appearances - the Bulldogs were ASC semifinalists in 2006.
