Bio

Jessica Stetler was a volleyball All-American in 2008 and a two-time All-Region selection (2008 and 2010). She led the Bulldogs to the 2007 NCAA Division III Championships (first round) and to the 2007 American Southwest Conference Championship. Stetler led the Bulldogs to the 2010 ASC West Division Co-Championship and to a 2010 ASC Championship runner-up finish. She was a member of three ASC West Division title teams. She was the ASC West Most Valuable Player in 2010. A four-year starter at outside hitter, Stetler ended her Bulldog career with 1,330 kills, 3,898 attempts, and 1,414 digs. She ranks fifth all-time at TLU for career kills. She is third all-time in career attempts, fourth in digs per game (3.54), and fifth in kills per game (3.33). Stetler set a new American Southwest Conference record for career attack attempts (3,898), breaking the old record of 3,384. Stetler came within one attack attempt of tying the single-match ASC record for total attempts. In her final match as a Bulldog, she recorded 86 attack attempts over five sets against Hardin-Simmons, the ASC record at the time was 87. Stetler was named the 2010 and 2011 TLU Female Student-Athlete of the Year. She was named to four All-ASC West Division Teams. She was a three-time ASC All-West Division First Team selection. She was named to three consecutive All-ASC Teams (selected among players that were ASC First All-West and All-East Division selections). The All-ASC Teams were the top eight players in the conference each year, and Stetler was selected in her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons.
