SCAC Announces Spring 2024 All-Sportsmanship Teams; Eight Bulldogs Honored

SEGUIN, Texas -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its 16th annual spring All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 62 student-athletes were selected to the 2024 squad in the sports of baseball, men's and women's golf, softball, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's track and field.

Each head coach was asked to elect one member from his or her team who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the 2024 spring season. Junior Tobey Wills of TLU men's golf earns the honor for the second time in his career, previously earning the honor in 2022, while every other honoree is a first time winner.

The following Texas Lutheran student-athletes were chosen as the best representative for their respective teams:

Baseball - Tyler Post, Sr. (San Antonio/Johnson)

Women's Golf - Braydee Frederick, Jr. (Normangee/Normangee)

Men's Golf - Tobey Wills, Jr. (Richmond/Foster)

Softball - Kayla Ramirez, So. (Kingsville/Santa Gertrudis Academy)

Men's Tennis - Cash Herrera, So. (New Braunfels/New Braunfels)

Women's Tennis - Lindsay Beville, Fr. (New Braunfels/Canyon)

Men's Track and Field - Gabriel Ceballos, So. (San Antonio/Smithson Valley)

Women's Track and Field - Brenna Iannelli, Sr. (La Grange/La Grange)
