39 Texas Lutheran Student-Athletes Earn SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll Accolades

SEGUIN, Texas – Texas Lutheran University placed 39 student-athletes on the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Student-Athlete Fall Academic Honor Roll, the conference office announced Tuesday.

A total of 540 student-athletes made the list. To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference. Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 34,000 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom.

Texas Lutheran volleyball and men's soccer tallied double-digit honorees, with men's soccer leading the way with 12 honorees and volleyball tallying ten. Texas Lutheran women's soccer placed eight while women's and men's cross country tallied five and four respectively.

TLU had eight SCAC All-Conference honorees from 2023 that also picked up Academic Honor Roll recognition this year. United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American, Jack Manke, and United Soccer Coaches All-Region defender Diego Roman headline the illustrious group that was named to the Academic Honor Roll and SCAC All-Conference teams.
