The first set was back-and-forth with neither team willing to give the other a distinct advantage before the Pirates put the set away 26-24.

Texas Lutheran returned to form in the second set taking down the Pirates, 25-19, to even the match 1-1.

The Pirates would cruise through the next two sets to put the Bulldogs down, 3-1.

The Bulldogs (9-4) will return to Memorial Gymnasium for the final time this season on Tuesday, Oct. 24, for a rematch with the Pirates. The match is scheduled for 6 PM and will be broadcast on TLU+. All streaming and live stats links will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
