Rodriguez, Wilson Compete in Trinity Last Chance Meet

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran women's track and field team continued to their push to the 2023 NCAA Division-III National Championships as throwers Julissa Rodriguez (Deer Park/Deer Park) and Brianna Wilson (Austin/Cotulla) competed at the Trinity Last Chance Meet in San Antonio on Sunday.

Julissa Rodriguez would win the shot put with a mark of 11.58m while Brianna Wilson would win the discus throw with a mark of 40.05m.

Coach Holland's Comments: "I'm happy with our performances. The weather worked out great and we are looking forward to heading to California this week to see if we can get a smidge better."
