Coach Holland's Comments: "We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to compete! The distance runners were blessed in the morning with cool temperatures and then the sprinters, jumpers and throwers had warm temperatures with wind legal readings to make for a GREAT day!

For the women, Emagen really had a big day in the throws along with teammate Julissa, and, then on the track, Trinity Murdock was amazing in the 100 and the women's 4x100 and 4x400 relays dominated the meet. We had so many personal bests and impressive times and distances in everything. We still have time to make improvements and continue to get better! So proud of the performances for the meet and how hard everyone worked! Expectations from the coaching staff are high for the season and it appears everyone is rising to the occasion! It is fantastic to see!

We hope to get a number of athletes into the meet this coming weekend at Texas State. It is set to be a very large meet this year in conjunction with Texas Relays in nearby Austin. It will be a great opportunity to show our talents on the D1 level."
