Coach Holland's Comments: "Going into this meet we had some big goals. For the most part, it just wasn't a good day for us. The heat and humidity in Houston was a tough adjustment for us after having fairly good practice weather leading up to it here in Seguin. A lightning delay of an hour threw us off right before the long jump, high jump, 4x1, men's shot put and women's discus were beginning and so enthusiasm waned a little afterwards. Julissa Rodriguez had a good series of throws in the shot and disc. Our women's 4x1 ran their fastest time so far this season.
