Julissa Rodriguez Collects USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

NEW ORLEANS, LA -- Julissa Rodriguez (Deer Park/Deer Park) has been named All-Region by the USTFCCCA for her performance in the shot put during the 2023 NCAA Division-III Indoor Track & Field season. All-Region honors were announced on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the regular season.

Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.

Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.

The honors continue to roll in for Rodriguez, who has had a decorated career thus far with Texas Lutheran.

Rodriguez repeats as an All-Region honoree in the shot put (12.84m) after earning All-Region honors in the shot put and weight throw a season ago. Rodriguez's 12.84m mark finished second in the West Region.
