Bulldogs Remain in Sixth Entering Final Round

LAKE WHITNEY, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran women's golf team remains in sixth place entering Tuesday's final round of the SCAC Women's Golf Championships at White Bluff Golf Resort in Lake Whitney, Texas. After the second round, Texas Lutheran is in sixth place at 204-over par with a 780 team score. TLU improved by eight strokes in their second round, shooting a 386 on the day. Trinity remains in the lead at 44-over par after two rounds.

Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) continues to pace the Bulldogs after shooting a 12-over second round. Frederick is in 19th place after two rounds with a 36-hole score of 34-over (178). Southwestern's Ryleigh Erickson maintained her lead sitting at 3-over through 36 holes.

Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro) is in 27th with a score of 53-over (96-101) while Mireia Bustamante (Austin/McNeil) rose two spots on the leaderboard to sit in 29th at 56-over (104-96), improving eight strokes on her opening round.

Jordyn Ponewash (Flatonia/Flatonia) is in 31st with a score of 61-over (100-105).
