Texas Lutheran Sits in Second After Day One of Coastal Collegiate Classic
GLENEDEN BEACH, OR -- The Texas Lutheran women's golf team sits in second place and nine strokes off the lead after the first day of play at the Coastal Collegiate Classic hosted by Corban University at the Salishan Golf Links in Gleneden Beach, Oregon.
Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) led the Bulldogs in the opening round finishing 14-over (85) through her first 18 holes. Audre Garza (New Braunfels/Canyon) and Jordyn Ponewash (Flatonia/Flatonia) also found themselves in the top ten after day one, tying for seventh at 20-over (91).
Monday's second round will begin with tee times starting at 8:30 AM PST.
