Bulldogs Wrap West Region Invitational
GEORGETOWN, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran women's golf team wrapped the 2023 West Region Invitational Tuesday at Berry Creek Country Club in Georgetown, Texas.
As a team, Texas Lutheran finished seventh in a field of nine teams combining for a score of 699, 123-over par over 36 holes.
Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) paced the Bulldogs on day two with an 8-over 80 in the final round Tuesday. She finished the tournament 21-over and tied for 17th place in the 36-hole tournament - climbing the leaderboard six spots from Monday.
Wynter Flores (San Antonio/Incarnate Word Academy) finished 20th with a score of 25-over. Audre Garza (New Braunfels/Canyon) signed for a final tally of 89 on day two to close the tournament at 34-over to finish tied for 35th.
Texas Lutheran will now focus on the 2023 SCAC Championships hosted by Schreiner University at Riverhill Country Club in Kerrville, Texas, April 17-18.
