Bulldogs Wrap Space City Classic

HOUSTON, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran women's golf team wrapped the 2023 Space City Classic Tuesday at Gus Wortham Golf Course in Houston, Texas.

As a team, Texas Lutheran finished eighth in a field of eight teams combining for a score of 710, 142-over par over 36 holes.

Wynter Flores (San Antonio/Incarnate Word) paced the Bulldogs on day two with 10-over 71 in the final round Tuesday. She finished the Classic 24-over and tied for 22nd place in the 36-hole tournament - climbing the leaderboard three spots from Monday.

Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) finished 30th with a score of 30-over. Audre Garza (New Braunfels/Canyon) signed for a final tally of 91 on day two to close the Classic at 44-over to finish tied for 40th.

The Bulldogs return to the course next week when they participate in The Whitney hosted by University of Dallas in Whitney, Texas, March 6-7th.
