Ezrael Powell Named SCAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA -- Texas Lutheran junior Ezrael Powell (San Antonio/Marshall) has been tabbed the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men's Track Athlete of the Week following his performance at the D3 Challenge, according to the league announcement Tuesday.

This marks Powell's first SCAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor.

Powell ran two personal bests at the D3 Challenge to notch second place overall in the 200 at 21.78 (first in conference, and 10th in D3), and sixth place overall in the 100 at 10.91 (second in conference, 30th in D3). He also anchored the team's fourth place 4x100 relay at 42.63 (the 4x1 team is currently ranked first in the conference and 25th in D3).
