Bulldogs Swept by Whitworth, 9-0

SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran men's tennis was swept by the Whitworth University Pirates, 9-0, Tuesday afternoon at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center in non-conference action.

The Bulldogs were swept in doubles competition. The doubles team of Brody Smith (New Braunfels/Canyon) and Jackson Leslie (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) played to a competitive 6-8 finish.

Men's tennis would drop all six singles matches. Freshman Eric Moninger (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) played a tightly contested 6-7, 5-7 match.

Up next, Texas Lutheran continues its homestand as they welcome the Sul Ross State Lobos to Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center on March 30 for the first of back-to-back matches with the ASC foe. First serve is set for 4 PM.
