SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran men's tennis dropped their home opener to East Texas Baptist Friday evening, 8-1.

The Bulldogs were swept in doubles competition.

Xavier Cristan (Corpus Christi/Flour Bluff) picked up his second consecutive singles win - forcing a decisive third set - before earning the 3-6, 6-1, 10-8 come from behind victory.

The Bulldogs would drop the remaining five singles matches in straight sets.

Texas Lutheran is back in action on Saturday, Feb. 11, in their first conference matchup against the Southwestern Pirates in Georgetown. First serve is set for 10 AM.
