Texas Lutheran opened the scoring in the 11th minute as Preston Huff (Cypress/Cy-Fair) netted his second goal of the season via assists from Erick Lopez (Humble/Humble) and Gavin Edwards (Missouri City/Ridge Point).

UT-Dallas scored in the 21st minute to tie the game 1-1 before captain Jack Manke (Houston/Stratford) netted the eventual game winner in the 37th minute, putting the Bulldogs up 2-1.

Goalkeeper Noel Pena (Houston/Cy-Falls), who was named the SCAC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, came up with four saves including three major ones in the second half.
