Texas Lutheran Finishes Ninth at Alamo City Classic
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran men's golf team finished in ninth place at the Alamo City Classic at the Quarry Golf Course in San Antonio on Tuesday. Individually, Tyler Givilancz (Schertz/Clemens) finished tied for 16th with a final tally of 215 (+2) over 54 holes to lead Texas Lutheran.
The Bulldogs shot a team score of 895 (+43) finishing the tournament with a third round score of 305.
Host, Trinity University, won the tournament with a score of nine-under par from their B team, outlasting their A team by one stroke.
Tobey Wills (Richmond/Foster) finished tied for 33rd at nine-over par.
Caleb Kruse (Fredericksburg/Fredericksburg) signed for the final tally of 11-over 224 to finish tied for 36th
Texas Lutheran returns to action Oct. 15-17 at the Coastal Collegiate Classic at the Salishan Golf Links in Gleneden Beach, Oregon, to conclude their fall season.
