Men's Golf Closes Day One at Linda Lowery Invitational

ROUND ROCK, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran men's golf team opened play at the Linda Lowery Invitational at Teravista Golf Club in Round Rock, Texas, on Monday.

The Bulldogs carded a 36-over par round of 324 and are in ninth place. St. Thomas leads the tournament after day one at 3-over par 291.

Caleb Kruse (Fredericksburg/Fredericksburg) paced the Bulldogs on Monday with a 7-over par 79 - sitting in a tie for 40th.

Round Rock native Chandler Otto (Round Rock/Cedar Ridge) posted an 80 to tie for 45th.

The Bulldogs are set to tee off in round two of the Linda Lowery Invitational at 8 AM on Tuesday, March 28. Live scoring will be available on golfstat.com.
