TLU A&T Falls to UMHB on Senior Day

SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Acrobatics and Tumbling wrapped their first ever regular season with a matchup with Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday at Memorial Gymnasium. The Bulldogs would drop the meet to the Crusaders with the Bulldogs (0-6) earning a total score of 104.250 and the Crusaders (7-1) earning a total score of 257.535.

Texas Lutheran would score a 14.90 in the compulsory, including a 2.55 in acro, 5.10 in pyramid, 5.35 in toss, and 2.00 in tumbling out of the highest possible values of 10. UMHB outscored the Bulldogs in the compulsory, earning a 36.40 total score.

After the acro event, TLU continued to trail the more experienced Crusaders, with the Bulldogs earning a total score of 12.10 consisting of a 7.35 in the fifth element, 2.75 in the sixth element, and 2.00 in the seventh element.
 
Mary Hardin-Baylor would edge out the Bulldogs in the pyramid event, 28.10 to 24.10.

Leading into the half, TLU trailed UMHB 91.30 - 51.10. 
 
The Crusaders took the toss event, with event scores being 25.65 - 15.95.
 
UMHB also took the tumbling event, outscoring TLU 52.075 to 37.200.

After UMHB's team event, Texas Lutheran honored its lone senior Ally Varenhorst (Schertz/Steele) in a Senior Day ceremony.
