SCAC Announces Fall 2023 All-Sportsmanship Teams; Five Bulldogs Honored

SUWANEE Ga. -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its 16th annual fall All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 41 student-athletes, including five Texas Lutheran student-athletes, were selected to the 2023 squad in the sports of men's cross country, women's cross country, men's soccer, women's soccer and volleyball.

Since the inaugural All-Sportsmanship teams were honored in the fall of 2008, the SCAC has recognized over 2,250 student-athletes who each, in his or her own way, has displayed the league's core belief in the value of honorable conduct.

For this year's selections, each conference head coach was asked to elect one member from his or her team who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the season. 

The following Texas Lutheran student-athletes were chosen as the best representative for their respective teams:

Men's Cross Country - Nathan Sandelovic, Fr. (Hallettsville/Hallettsville)

Women's Cross Country - Isabella Schaar, Sr. (San Antonio/Smithson Valley)

Men's Soccer - Nathan Roy, Sr. (Houston/Cy-Creek)

Women's Soccer - Jessica Robinson, So. (Cibolo/Steele)

Volleyball - Julia Chew, Jr. (Cypress/Cy-Fair)
